Good Bye Summer

My family has enjoyed the summer, albeit a busy and overwhelming one. My husband and I got married (yay!) and are navigating newlywedded bliss with a 70-mile commute to my husband's work. Change is constant, and we're discovering how to be in love with each day in this new situation.
Yoga assists in managing the anxiety that often comes with change. Forward folds, deep breathing and mediation are great tonics for the body, heart and mind when feeling the stress start to overwhelm.
Mostly, yoga gives us that pause to reflect and choose the most life-affirming action. For me, sometimes that means making time to unravel the anxiety, like walking with Lucinda on the beach.
