I'm finding it difficult to listen to much else than some good soul music lately. Pete played me an amazing Roberta Flack record this week.
I gotta say though, Miss Roberta has nothing on the magnificient Sharon Jones. Check out Sharon and the Dap Kings on EMusic, and Brooklyn's Daptone Records. She does an amazing version of Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land" with a perfect amount of sass.
