Shakti...again.

I am in awe of shakti. In the last month, I've celebrated the following:
-two weddings
-many reunions with beloved friends
-four new babies born in my circle
-the announcement of two new babies on the way
-a (wedding) engagement
Any many other excellent blessings. I've also experienced shock and grief, witnessing my community work through the collapse of 35w bridge less than a mile from my office, countless other tragedies in our news, and a passing of a dear family member last week. In each of these experiences, there is shakti, that boundless universal benevolent wisdom, and our challenge is opening up to seeing the blessings and wisdom that arrive moment by moment.
I sat last night in my yard, focusing in on my breath and letting go of my attempts to control things and let shakti be in the driver's seat.
Consider our full moon tonight as a revealing reminder of shakti...how can you align your thoughts and moments to better reconnect to that universal beneficence? Just remember, shakti illuminates the wisdom in all things, and most specifically in you.
